Dues Time! Homecoming each year signals the start of our
annual dues collection for the coming year.
2008 dues are due by Jan.
1. Please download an application and fill it out entirely, so we can
make sure we have updated information. And, please, if you have access
to e-mail, please provide us with an address. It’s by far our best,
cheapest, fastest way of keeping you up to date on CVOA activities.
Dues are $10 for an individual; $15 for a family. Range memberships are
an additional $10 per person.

Welcome to the Carrabassett Valley Outdoor Association! CVOA 2009 Ski Trip
Aspen/Snowmass
January 31st to February 7th, 2009
 CVOA’s 2009 ski trip to the Aspen/Snowmass area is now official. Trip Coordinator Kathy Gagne has the
contract in hand for up to 40 participants from January 31 to Feb. 7.
And, unlike past years, this year’s trip will go through to Aspen from Boston, with a change in Denver.
The cost for the seven-day trip, including all transportation, lodging and five days of skiing at four different peaks, is $1,890 per person. It includes a fuel surcharge, which could change depending on fuel prices.
The ski pass will be valid at Aspen, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk Mountain. For an additional $20, you can upgrade to a six-day ski pass, or save $30 by downsizing to a four-day pass.
Our tour operator for this year’s trip is Skican Limited, who we have used with great success on previous trips. The services of a Skican representative will be available throughout our stay.
Lodging will be double occupancy at the Villas at Snowmass Club, a deluxe property located by the Two Creeks Chairlift with free shuttle service to the lifts just a two-minute ride away. The two-bedroom units all offer beautiful mountain views overlooking Snowmass Golf Club Course and have full kitchen, high-speed internet service and laundry facilities. Please let Kathy know as soon as possible if you will be needing twin bed rooms.
The package includes free access to the 19,000 square-foot athletic club, complete with four pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, spa services and fitness classes.
Transportation will include a C & J Transportation motorcoach each way from the former Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth, N.H., where free parking is available for the week, to United Airlines terminal at Boston’s Logan International Airport. Departure time is 7:45 a.m. from Logan. The flight connects through Denver directly to Aspen where round-trip ground transportation will be provided to Snowmass.
